Our Story

As a former licensed builder and home improvement company owner in Grand Rapids, I understand firsthand the challenges of marketing and growing a business in today’s dynamic environment. In the former businesses we worked for we had challenges of getting more customers because we never had enough recent quality reviews.

We looked for a solution and resorted to growing, managing and marketing our reviews ourselves. This approach worked for us and when suggested to friends; they tested the approach and got results too. This ability to grow and leverage online reviews into more business became popular so quickly that Leverage Marketing was born.

Leverage Marketing was started to help local small businesses grow their company by generating more online reviews. Unlike most online review management platforms, we tailored our review management offering to be a “done for you” service.

About Me

Steve Rodgers here, CEO of Leverage Marketing and a former home improvement business owner. Before founding Leverage Marketing, I built and operated a successful $1MM home improvement company, so I understand the challenges and opportunities you face in this industry. From managing crews to securing leads, I’ve been in your shoes and know what it takes to grow and sustain a thriving business.

In addition to running my own business, I served as the marketing manager for a local home improvement company from 2015 to 2019. During that time, I honed my skills in building online presence, generating leads, and creating strategies that drive real results. Since starting Leverage Marketing in 2019, I’ve helped contractors and service businesses expand their reach, dominate local search, and grow their bottom lines. Two of my clients have even been acquired by private equity firms—a testament to the value of effective marketing in increasing business value.

At Leverage Marketing, we specialize in helping home improvement and service businesses achieve sustainable growth. My team and I focus on proven strategies like local search optimization, review marketing, and consistent, results-driven content to ensure your business stands out.
